Stewardship Management Plan
To date, The Forest Management Center has written over 600 Forest Stewardship Plans on 120,000 acres. Forest Stewardship Plans are a government-sponsored management program. In fact, the government thinks so highly of this program, that almost all of our clients have their Plans written for FREE. The Plan acts as an all-encompassing guide to the current vegetation, wildlife and condition of both, as well as how it can be maintained to optimize wildlife habitat, recreational opportunities and tree growth/health, as well as to increase timber value. With this Plan written, many landowners qualify for enhancement projects for their forest land, such as deer fencing, tree planting and wildlife improvements. The costs associated with these projects are often reimbursed (up to 75%) by the US Forest Service.

We offer a FREE, no obligation inspection of your property to determine your goals for the future and which of our services will be most beneficial, with as little cost to you as possible. This FREE service is only offered to landowners who own property within two hours of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania or who own over 500 acres. See an example copy of a Forest Stewardship Plan under our Resources Menu as a PDF Document.
